NCC/Scout & Guides

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a voluntary youth organization in India that was established in 1948 by the Ministry of Defence. It is the world’s largest uniformed youth organization, with over 14 lakh cadets across the country. The NCC is part of the educational program and is open to students from high schools, colleges, and universities.

The Bharat Scouts and Guides (BSG) is a national movement dedicated to empowering young individuals through a variety of educational and recreational activities. Established in 1950, BSG aims to instill values such as discipline, self-reliance, and community service among school children.
Objectives
Character Building: BSG activities focus on developing a strong moral foundation, fostering traits such as honesty, integrity, and responsibility.
Skill Development: Students acquire practical skills ranging from first aid to knot tying, which are essential for daily life and emergencies.
Leadership and Teamwork: Through group activities and projects, students learn to work as a team, take initiative, and lead effectively.
Community Service: Encouraging students to engage in community service projects helps them become compassionate and responsible citizens.
